Join Us: The Impeachment Task Force is now pushing to #RemoveTrump
The only way to get the U.S. Senate to act is to individually lobby each member.
See below for just some of what we've accomplished and help us raise more money to push out more digital ads:
- We had more than 49,000 of you send 147,000 letters to Congress and now we started a new action page with the articles on it. We then had 3,500+ of you send 10,500+ letters for the House floor vote. And now our #RemoveTrump Senate page is live - take action here.
- Our first ad was viewed more than 5 million times across a variety of digital platforms and was aired on CNN and Fox News. Share it here.
- Our Task Force has grown to more than 2,500 members, including this list of 94 leaders. Follow them on Twitter here.
- We filed a House Ethics complaint against Devin Nunes for his attempts to encourage foreign interference in our elections. And then we hit him with a second complaint once new call logs were released.
- We've trended dozens of hashtags, including #ImpeachmentTaskForce, #TrumpBribery, #TrumpBriberyCrimes, and #RemoveTrump.
Please donate here to now help the Task Force keep the pressure on the shameless, complicit Republicans in the U.S. Senate.
Here is the plan:
1) Drive contacts to Congress
Send a letter to the U.S. Senate now - we need to drive as many contacts as possible before the Senate trial ends.
After you send a letter, call your senators at (202) 224-3121.
2) Amplifying allies
The Democratic Coalition is one of the largest online organizing groups in the Democratic Party. While a Senate trial is a grave process for our senators to undertake, we need to be able to amplify breaking news and accounts related to #RemoveTrump and counter disinformation using paid advertising.
On the other side, Trump is using millions of dollars on rapid-response Facebook ads, spending over $2 million on 1,800 ads in just a single week. This makes our efforts even more critical to win hearts and minds in the fight to sway public opinion.
Your donations will go towards digital ads as well as the development and coordination of messaging on a daily basis.
3) Fighting Trump's Lies
Help us fight Trump's constant stream of disinformation and fake news with our rapid response coalition. See the list of coalition members here.
Your donations will go towards promoting tweets and Facebook posts related to #RemoveTrump from members of the Task Force.
4) Promoting Hashtags
Your donations will go directly towards getting hashtags, like #Ukrainegate and #RemoveTrump to trend in order to promote our messaging and also counter messaging from Trump and his allies.
Impeachment Task Force Members

More Impeachment Task Force Stories In Right-Wing News Outlets
The Democratic Coalition has started major trends like the #RepublicansForImpeachment movement, and our goal is to continue expanding the reach of our messaging to a conservative audience, while at the same time rallying the Democratic base to action.
Our Impeachment Task Force initiative has been crucial to pushing out our message to political news outlets and audiences on both sides of the aisle with a simple, but serious message that we must hold President Trump accountable during the House impeachment inquiry and calling to patriotism while Congress finds the facts. The Impeachment Task Force achieved positive coverage in the Washington Times, a conservative DC newspaper who covered our efforts to broadcast our message onto the airwaves with Fox News.

The conservative media space is not giving the same coverage to the Trump impeachment inquiry that a fact-based news outlet would provide, so our appearances in those spaces raises the profile of our entire effort and brings awareness when we launch our advertisements.
Of course, not all of the coverage in conservative media will be glowing. But our earned media hits from the top right-wing commentators still contribute to raising national awareness of our efforts. |
